Publication
Creators can sign a contract with Malström and release the Japanese version from Malström’s online store. Based on the contract, creators receive a reasonable percent of sales as a royalty.
In addition, Malström will put effort into promoting and selling the Japanese version of your work in Japan and we will also develop related products for the Japanese market and provide various support for customers according to the contract.
Translation
The Translation plan only provides a translation of your work into Japanese instead of publishing it from Malström. Also, we can re-layout the translated text to fit in the format for Japanese because Japanese characters and layout are more specific than English. You can receive the translated data, but we have two options for the copyright of the translated text.
Standard Translation
In Standard Translation, creators are free to use translated text. However, you are required to use Malström’s logo on your product when it contains any work done by us. Also, the copyright of the translated texts remains in our attribution.
Premium Translation
In Premium Translation, as well as the right to use translated texts, we rearrange your document to create a suitable format for the Japanese language and users. The requirement still remains as in the Standard Translation, and the copyright is also under our attribution.
