About Us
Malström is a publisher that sells and translates TTRPGs into Japanese, as well as web media distributing varieties of news about TTRPGs at home and abroad. In the Publishing department, we sign contracts with foreign indie designers or companies to sell Japanese versions, mainly in PDFs. The Media Site Division provides various information on new releases and feature articles related to small or mid-scaled indie games in the overseas TTRPG market.
Malström is the Swedish word for Maelstroms. We will continue to connect TTRPG players around the world as a Maelstroms that straddles the ttrpg industry in Japan and the rest of the worlds.
Montro
A TTRPG translator and marketer who introduces foreign TTRPGs to Japanese audiences mainly on Twitter. He has translated “Liminal Horror” and “Nibiru Quick Start Guide”, as well as “Tales From The Loop” as a member of translator teams. His recent work also includes Kutulu from Swedish to Japanese.
